I love this lamp! I replaced one of the many "lightbulbs" in my renovated home. This light gave my 1959 ranch a mid-century modern flair. I suggest buying GE "Reveal" bulbs. They have a bluish tint that contrasts with the yellowish tint of the shadow and makes the lighting much better. I put regular warm LED bulbs in and DH said it looks like a funeral home light. Ha ha. But the Reveal lamps fixed that!

I have this as a replacement for a construction tool in my home office. My husband is pretty good at crafting but he had trouble installing it. The instructions are nonsense. And we agree with previous reviews that the threads are NOT long enough for the handle holding the glass to feel solid. I will not change lightbulbs! Overall I like the look (unfortunately I was hoping it would soften the light than it really is) but my husband finds it too "sterile" for the home. Glad it's not his office!

I rarely write reviews but recent purchases from Revain have been very difficult to install with terrible instructions. In short, the way this thing attaches to your lightbox is rubbish. As you can see from my photos you will need to use 2 screws (not included) to screw the light bracket/plate to your light box. The studs supplied with this light should face DOWN.
