No spring therefore no 'safe' latch
This is to keep the door open for our cats and to prevent our dog from entering the room (tray). Our dog hit other latches, so we're hoping the "spring" security is the answer. Unfortunately, there is no "spring" to hold the fuse and prevent the hook from being unhooked. The fuse is only held by gravity, so our dog just climbs onto the hook from below and the hook is easily unhooked.
