Great mics! I use them for in-game communication via Steam, only 1 mic can pick up my voice clearly from 20ft away in another room, even through a door with Steam settings on medium threshold/open mic and only 10% input volume and window. Microphone volume settings 100% without microphone gain. I won't lie, I was very impressed. I had to tweak the placement a bit because they are so delicate that clipping them to my shirt would take my breath away. my needs, at least I don't have to zip/unzip when I get up and move, right? They do a great job of canceling out my computer's background noise (it's a noisy computer, 11 fans in it pushing a total airflow of 254cc, sitting about 2 1/2 feet below the mic). Overall I'm happier with it than any other headset mic I've owned. In a way, it's more convenient since it allows you to use any type of headphone. Anyway, this mic sucks, it only worked wirelessly, not wired. That was the main reason I bought these mics, once I got them they opened up more doors for me to open with them. The clip is metal when I bought them thought it was plastic (looked like plastic) they are pretty strong spring clips and I'm glad it's not plastic. It takes a long time to break a wire so be careful with it. For this to work on a PC you will need to use the included 4 pin to 3 pin adapter. It doesn't work without it on a PC, I've tried it. The packaging was a simple felt zip bag for storing other accessories. I already had 3.5mm extensions, but the ones that come with them are good for backup. My only complaint about the shipping, they were sent via UPS, I always have problems with UPS. They delivered the package to my mailbox at 8:19 p.m. instead of home without warning me. If it wasn't for my neighbor I wouldn't have gotten it. They should have just mailed it to USPS, I'm a little sorry the UPS guy delivered that mail package to BFE (about 50 miles from delivery center) lol. UPS is good for large packages, not small ones that fit in mailboxes, it's just gross in my opinion.
