Review on Z Edge Z-EDGE 1920X1080 Backlight Eye Care Technology 75Hz Curved HDMI HD Monitor by Jack Brightblade

I really, really wanted to love this monitor and while it has some pros, the cons outweigh the pros for me. Pros: 1. It has a good size and slim monitor design2. Picture quality was excellent.3. It's light, so lifting it up was very easy.4. I like the white and silver color as it matches the color scheme of my home office. Now for the cons and my experience: 1. The stand doesn't stick firmly to the monitor so every time I had to lift it it wasn't attached. It was difficult to hold to connect the cables. The stand should snap into place or something to keep it attached.2. When I turned it on, there was a yellow vertical bar on the right side of the screen. It was annoying so I googled to find out what it was. There were several tips such as B. (a) Updating the graphics card; (b) ensure that the cables are not loose; etc. what I've tried (no dice!); I even tried using the VGA port and the HDMI port and the line was still there both times. I then unplugged the monitor and when I plugged it back in it still wasn't fixed. I factory reset the monitor and that didn't work either; and (c) the other tip gently pressed the bottom of the line that was moving up. I tried this very carefully, but then I saw the horizontal lines and they are multi-colored in addition to more vertical lines! fine with my previous monitor so I knew they weren't the cause. But when I turned the monitor back on, the lines turned into a big black spot covering 1/4 of my screen. So I called Z-Edge technical support and explained the problem. She informs me that there may have been damage in transit. However, it was well packaged and had no dents or scratches. At first I thought these monitors were defective. So I sent them back to Revain and opted for a full refund, plus I bought an extended 3 year warranty. Instead, Revane gives me a gift certificate! I have decided not to purchase another of these monitors so just wanted to return the money on the card. But I have a gift certificate! I'm not happy and there's nothing I can do. I just need to use it to buy other materials instead.3. Another buyer mentioned that this monitor doesn't have the curve effect shown in the photos and I have to agree! I was disappointed that it barely has a curve. The seller is really misrepresenting this item. I hope no one else shares my experience with this monitor as this customer is very dissatisfied.
