I've been looking for a pair of shorts to wear at home on the hottest days and they fit the bill. They are light, simple, comfortable and dry very quickly. So if I want to hand wash them before bed, I can hang them up and they'll be dry in the morning. You have an assignment that I prefer. They also have a pocket but I wouldn't put anything heavy in them like a phone or even a bunch of keys because the shorts are so light they would look weird. but you could put two house keys or a bank card in it I guess. so why only three stars? Well, they walk very little. I'm not one of those people who think I'm a size smaller than I really am. I could wear medium pieces like shorts, but I almost always buy big ones because I prefer loose, casual clothes like these. because I had previously bought a different style of shorts from the same brand even though I knew the brand ran small. So I bought size XL. They fit almost perfectly but I have never worn an XL size in my life. More importantly, they have a weird velcro closure. I'm not sure why they even need a bow tie - I just put them on. but if they have a bow tie, velcro is an odd choice. I'm worried that the velcro might come loose when I'm at the gym when the gyms reopen. Also, my experience with velcro is that it gets fuzzy over time and then less able to properly adhere to itself.
