6/24/2019 - I have been looking for "decorative" hooks as I have curtains that have straps (curtain keeper) to hold them but no hooks for the straps. That's why I bought them in the first place, although I only used 3 of them initially. They arrived today after waiting 7 days for their order. I was a little surprised as they were bigger and heavier than I actually wanted. They're great for storing heavy items like pots and pans, as well as cumbersome tools that just don't fit in a tool chest. There are 10 white ticks and ten black ticks. I used a drill to make the hole, using a smaller drill and not driving it as deep as a screw. This plan worked great as the hook screw had something to poke at which made for a more secure fit. I'll probably find a use for other hooks later. I would recommend them for more intensive use, although they do the job I want very well. They are just a bit bigger and stand out. Another plus is that the hook itself is lined to protect whatever it is used for.
