I bought this light for my Waterbox Marine X 110.4 aquarium. Freshwater fish live in the aquarium and this lantern provides sufficient light. I know that there are lamps that can cost anywhere from $500 to $1000. I'm sure these lights are good but to be honest they are not needed. The money they take is excessive and wasted in my humble opinion. I design LED circuits and I know how much they should cost. My 2 cents again. This light does everything except bluetooth control. This is negligible as the schedule controls the sunrise and sunset cycles. It even has multicolored controls. If you want to change color or brightness, then yes, you have to get off your ass and touch the light. It gets warm but not too warm when I put my hand on it. If you read the instructions it means below 120 is fine. The instructions for the light could be better, but take your time, read it carefully and you will understand. If you want Alexa or Siri to do it for you, buy the $1,000 light. These are pets, there must be an individual approach. Any other issues I might have are outweighed by the cost. If you want a light that can do everything and requires no thought, you have to buy these very expensive lights. I decided against it in order to buy more fish. Remember they are fishermen not clubbers in any of the last dating places. The aim is therefore to imitate the day-night rhythm. This light has been running since June 2021 and there have been no problems. By the way, I also have a Hygger pump and a temperature controller. Everything works perfectly. I did not use the stands that came with it.
