Review on 🔲 ZINUS Dane 20 Inch Black Frame Side Table / End Table: Easy Assembly and Elegant Red Mahogany Wood Grain Design by Tony Mayes

Bought this to replace the smaller table that housed my electronics. While that was enough, the closed back made changing joints or shifting a gear really tiring. I've also expanded my system by adding an amplifier (currently a Fisher 500C tube receiver), a DAC and a turntable that should be added fairly soon. So I needed more capacity and more utility. I've been looking at furniture made specifically as audio stands. While a few at a reasonable price ticked the bill and at least one of them offered cable management, they were all more expensive and most of them were oversized for my needs. In the end I decided on Zinus, a brand I was completely unfamiliar with. Most reviews were positive. One reviewer mentioned that the shelves weren't high enough for his liking, so he built new shelves. Shelves are not a class of furniture, no one should expect them at this price point. Personally, I think they're good considering the price ($49 at the time of my purchase) and if I ever feel the need for something better, finding an alternative would be easy enough. I agree that the color of the shelf isn't exactly "espresso"; yes, it's quite a reddish, like a reddish umber. It doesn't quite go with my cabinets, but I'm not going to spread it on Architectural Digest, eh Honestly I really like the color Assembly was very easy Although an Allen key is included to fit the screws I used a cordless screwdriver to get the right torque easier It took about 10 minutes total If I were to assemble another block it would I need five - easy!I particularly like the minimalist modern style and clean lines.I haven't finished the whole install yet - need to do better and hide all the wires Well needs a phono stage and the turntable will be restored before I I've added a photo, current early stage installation would serve as either a second implement carrier nia or a co ight table. yes i am happy
