Great fan. If only glass wasn't such a problem. Not sure what the problem is, but I have to take the jar lids off and hand wash them every week! They develop a weird film of oil that I've never seen other fans do. It's so annoying that I'm considering replacing them, although new ones are very expensive. Second, they make a strange buzz. I tried the fighter and after much discussion they sent a new motor. I paid someone to install my fan (I have a broken leg and wouldn't be able to do it myself) so I told them it would be nice if they could refund me the part as it was defective as you would have to pay for it the inserted spare part. They said bluntly that it was not their problem. Luckily, Revain's customer service rep spoke on the phone. (If you purchase this fan, you should contact Hunter with any questions). She was the one who offered a $15 refund to cover the cost of installing the new item. In a nutshell. A+ for Revain, but F for this fan and hunting service.
