These shorts fit my nephew perfectly. He is 8 years old and wears a size 8 and I bought him this size 8 so they are true to size. My nephew loves the way they feel and loves the mesh pockets. Due to the thinner material, the pocket line isn't as visible, which makes it really clean, very cool!
