It's just junk, it's crumbly and seems poisonous to my sunny kennel as it loves to gnaw on anything and everything. There was dust from the perch stuff on the packaging and there was all this crystal dust on the suction cups that made it look so dirty. It's just not safe for birds, the material used seems really unsafe when ingested by birds in general. The suction cups suck, they don't hold well. I have a feeling you can definitely buy better shower rods elsewhere.
