The packaging is inadequate for delicate shipping processes.
Although the outside of the box looked fine. The inner box (manufacturer) showed clear signs of compression. When the device was removed from the styrofoam I could see that the dial on the device was misaligned. Further inspection revealed that the wiper assembly was no longer perpendicular to the unit housing. In addition, the case under the handle in the place of a strong impact of the assembly "wiper rod" was clearly bent up.
