So I bought two of these for my house. One in my room next to my bed for things I need and want to plug in like my CPAP machine and air purifier. I also have one in my living room. I had something attached to what is in my living room and it was on the top shelf. The niece accidentally tore it off, and although it never fell on the floor, it crashed into the shelf. The top is broken off at the bottom. They broke apart and something inside shifted and wouldn't turn on. I don't know what's broken, whether I can fix it myself or not. However, it wasn't worth the money I spent if it didn't withstand major knocks and falls. It doesn't have a long cord and the only great thing about it is that I was able to unplug some outlets and leave some on to control what can and can't use power.
