Kaytee Pros & Cons Clean and cozy natural small animal bedding

I've put together all the pros and cons of this bedding for you to read. I have also attached pictures of my cage with litter and another type of litter (I mention this in the review). So enjoy. Pros: This bedding is the safest option for hamsters. They have a very small and delicate respiratory system, so using pine or cedar shavings (and other bedding) may not be safe. This isn't one of those colorful or scented beddings that I like. It's cheaper! You can buy these sheets in different quantities and they all have different prices. However, this bedding is cheap for excellent quality. I use Subscribe and Save and it's definitely worth it. This bedding serves its purpose. Hamsters poop, pee and make a mess. That's why it's important that bedding is absorbent, doesn't smell so bad and is easy to clean. This bedding absorbs moisture much better than aspen shavings (the safest wood shavings I use too. I use Kaytee Aspen). So when your hamster pees or poops on it, the whole cage doesn't get wet and uncomfortable. It doesn't completely block the peeing of the entire breast, but it helps. Although I often clean the cage with hamsters, it's fine. And usually when I do a full cell clean, it's pretty easy to clean. It's not dusty or good. It's easy to pick up and put in a garbage bag. Then I usually get extra bits with a mini vacuum and a brush. This bedding is very easy to use. I was just talking about cleaning, but how about recovery? It's also very easy. It is shaped like a bag and when you pull out a large piece it looks a bit like a brick. (Not difficult though. It's just all tightly packed) And what you do is easy to break and shake up in your hands. He's so fluffy! This bedding is very fluffy and soft. If you have a hamster litter or just need soft and fluffy bedding, this is for you. My hamster is a long haired Syrian so his fur is prone to tangling. What I noticed is that this bedding really helps prevent that. So it is not confused. I've never had baby hamsters so I'm not sure. I suppose it should be good? Cons: Although soft and fluffy, I recommend aspen bedding for heavy items. I used to only use these bedding and they didn't fit well under my hamster wheel or heavy pelts. So now I use aspen in some parts of the cage and this bedding in others. I use wheel aspens and heavier heads. If your hamster likes to dig, I highly recommend this. Although my cage is locked, it is now glass and tends to shed a lot of litter. He slips through the bar rooms and causes real chaos. I have to suck a lot. There may be mites on this bedding, so be careful! All foods and bedding can transmit bed bugs or mites. That's why I recommend leaving it in the freezer for about 2 days before using it. This prevents human lives from being saved. (Well, your little furry friend will live, but not those nasty buggies) All in all, I would definitely recommend this bedding as part of your cage. However, I definitely recommend using Kaytee Aspen sheets as well. You will find both very useful in their own way. If you want this bedding but are unsure, buy it now! Your money will not be wasted.
