Great for night rides. Can distract other drivers.
I was afraid that other drivers would be blinded at night. But I made the purchase anyway. The low beam settings only use the top row and one from the middle row. The top row faces the ground while the rest faces straight ahead. So when the low beams are on, one LED will be pointed forward. Not blind, but noticeable. You could argue that this is distracting, but most LED headlights are distracting. On the other hand, this forward-facing LED illuminates reflective signs as if they were backlit. You will not miss any road sign at night.
