Im not particularly happy, but basically everything is fine.

Good macro and sharpness at the near end. Apparently, this glass on the crop requires shooting in manual mode - both aperture and focus. On P + AF, the advantages over the usual whale are not obvious. Maybe I'll change the rating later when I shoot in manual mode with MF, and the weather will be better. In the meantime, not happy with the investment. Moreover, everyone writes that the lens is fragile and breaks even without falling.

Pros

L-ka. Not outrageously expensive. Convenient zoom range. Large - looks and feels solid (I love it). Then it will be possible to upgrade to a full frame.

Cons

Expected more. After the whale, which is 7 times cheaper, I didn’t see much difference (60D). Of course, I did not take the same photos, but I looked at the old and new ones - in general, one level. On medium and max focal lengths, somehow everything is not very sharp and dark.
