This set is more of a model than a puzzle. This is a thin material like styrofoam covered with a printed sticker. We (me and my 7 year old) had some trouble keeping the connectors together, but overall it went well. However, the pieces are pretty flimsy (especially the connectors that we had to fiddle with to put them together) and I'm pretty sure if we took them apart it would be impossible to put them back together (so it's not a puzzle). ). So now we have a conundrum of where to put it. It's on the shelf, but I'm not sure it's worth keeping when it's time to put it away. That being said, my kid really enjoyed building it so I might have gotten my money's worth due to the lower price even if we only built it once.
