Review on 🔌 UL Listed Master Massage Table Warmer by Emily Oakes

Overall I really like this table warmer but its new heating technology has both positive and negative characteristics which I will try to clarify. #1. Positive: The control unit allows me to regulate the temperature of the heating pad with a scale of "0 - 10" almost steplessly. So far I haven't had to set it above "5" to make my clients feel very comfortable. However, it's nice to know that I have that flexibility when I need it. #2. On the positive side, I can also use the control box to set the number of hours I want the heater to stay on, up to 9 hours. This is good because I don't have to restart my device throughout the day. #3. Pros and Cons: The interesting thing about this new heating technology is that while the heater is on for up to 9 hours as above, it actually only produces heat when the customer is sitting on the table. So when there is no customer on site, the heating pad will not heat up or drag even if it is technically on, except when the customer is lying on the table and enjoying the heated surface. While this is a great feature as it prevents overheating and reduces power consumption, it is also the source of my negative feelings towards this heater. Because the surface doesn't heat up unless the client is in the right position, I can't just warm up my massage table when I'm waiting for a client. So the only way I found to preheat the table is to trick the heater into thinking the customer is on the surface by spreading cushions on the table surface. That can be annoying. On the other hand, the heating pad heats up the table pretty quickly once the customer is on the table, so do I need to worry about preheating? You see my dilemma. #4 Pros: Customers love the heating pad, reporting that the temperature stays consistent throughout the session. They don't feel hot and cold throughout the session like some heating pads of the past. #5. Pros: This heater is machine washable by unplugging the power cord. So the fact that I can set the timer up to 9 hours as mentioned in #2 is a positive? I think so . . . may be. Is the new heating technology good if I can't preheat the table without "tricking"? Maybe because it protects the heating pad from overheating and saves some energy. The heating pad heats up quickly even if I forget to turn on the preheat, so what's the problem? I'm not sure. But for some reason I'm feeling a bit nervous.#6. Negative(ish): Although the power cord is quite long, it would be better if it was a little longer. For many users this is probably long enough, but in my situation it would be better if it was a bit longer. The preheating issue, if indeed it is an issue, is the only reason I gave this heater 4 stars instead of 5. I hope this review is helpful.
