So far I have been a fan of Yamaha products which have had great success with my RX-V1000 which is still working without any problems. The RX-A780 was great until the MusicCast Sub 100 came out. It worked fine for a few months, and then the receiver (RX-A780) randomly turned itself off. To shorten my review, I replaced the receiver and subwoofer and now the problems are back. Through trial and error I have found that until now the problem has not reoccurred until the subwoofer is plugged in and turned on. Support for Yamaha has been painfully slow and of course the pandemic is to blame. (Although Apple support never missed a beat) Guess I'll have to take a loss on the sub and buy a Polk.
