Problems with auto shut off

I had the same experience as most of the reviewers here with the auto shut off. According to the user manual, these glasses should switch off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity. I wouldn't call that a disadvantage, rather a design flaw by LG. I suspect LG considered this a 'feature' to prevent the battery from draining when not in use. I see the logic, but LG worries too much that we don't blame ourselves for the dead battery. They had to do some consumer research. An on/off switch would be nice or just closing the glasses to turn it off would be awesome enough for me. In addition to the auto-off issue, the glasses themselves are very good. The 3D image is bright, but you lose some of the brightness of the image. For those who doubt whether to use active or passive 3D, the quality of active shutter glasses is much better than passive ones. If it weren't for the auto-off issue, I'd give the glasses 4.5 stars. the quality of active shutter glasses is much better than passive ones.
