Size was an issue so I'm glad this 2lb size came even if I didn't get the best price per ounce get . I'm new to protein so I can't compare whey and casein, but I can tell you that adding it to my carrot and kale smoothies makes me feel fuller a lot longer. Proteins generally keep you fuller for longer, which is why I add this stuff in combination with seeds like hemp, pumpkin, sunflower, etc. The cookies and cream are a bit of a shame. I first tried it with water and a bunch of strawberries in a Vitamix. kinda rude. but when I use a scoop as an ingredient in a 64-ounce smoothie, it's smoother and helps feed the gut flora so they don't whine to me that they're hungry.
