I liked these Gearit patch cables and bought a bunch of them in Jan and Feb 2022. They work great. However, now in November 2022, just 9 or 10 months later, the snagless clip covers have turned hard - too hard to even remove the cable easily from the switch, router, patch panel or whatever! I've had to use a small pliers to remove them and now, when I remove and reinsert them, I use a razor knife to remove the snagless clip covers. I have lots of other patch cables from various brands and sources and never had this problem before.
