Not lightweight but not too heavy -this size fits our queen bed fine
Returned a previous purchase because it was extremely thin - this one has a nice heft to it & as recommended by many others, we ordered the oversized queen 98"x98" which works great with our new higher bed and deeper mattress. Might be a bit heavier than expected but very cozy feel overall. Very creased - might consider ironing on cool, but not critical. Have not tried to wash it either. But after spending too much time researching comforters (and considering ones 5-6 times more expensive!) THIS was a definite winner for us!
