This is a potentially dangerous product. Active Sense technology tells you when more liquid needs to be added, but in our experience the liquid often overflows and causes oily liquid to enter the device, which then creates an unpleasant burning smell. it took months to get a replacement. As soon as we did that, the same problem reappeared within 3 weeks: the smoothie leaked everywhere and there was an oily, burning mush everywhere. It's been almost 3 months and I'm fighting customer service trying to get my money back and all they will do is replace it again which means they send the old one back, they're trying to get me to do it bring, pay for shipping and wait MONTHS for a replacement. Spend another $100 and buy a Vitamix. This thing isn't even worth half that. Expected more from Calfalon.
