Review on SMH-1000 Pro Field & Studio Monitor Headphones by Senal by Rob Marsh

Great sound at this or any other price. Not very deep in the bass, but bright and clear across the spectrum.

I bought them on sale for less than $50. They sound GREAT and the cables that connect to the headphones are really helpful. I had to buy new pads because the ones that came with the kit put pressure on my ears and it got painful after a few hours. New pads are around $7, though, so not a big deal. The bass on them is a little weak, but they sound amazing on the right songs. I use them when I play guitar. My only complaint is that the shorter cord is only 3 feet long. Using it on a computer or whatever could be a problem. 3 meters is too small. 4 feet would be ideal, but I often have to take them off when I want to recline in my chair. I could have used a different cable, but it's 10 feet long, so there's just a bundle of cables next to me. Edit: It's been a year and I still love these headphones. The short cable isn't a big issue since I mainly use it when working on my laptop. I also use them when I'm playing guitar and don't want to disturb anyone. I recommend them to everyone and only compare them to comparable Sony headphones if the price is similar enough to justify it. Would definitely buy them again.
