The one I received was probably defective from the group, let's see if the exchange will improve it. The moment it was plugged into the wall, it turned off the internal switch, but nothing was connected to it. Tried it 4 times, same result each time, and after the 4th try you could smell the food being cooked so it was clearly poorly done. If after some use the replacement proves better I will revisit this review and adjust the review accordingly. And for those who will celebrate. Yes, the outlet it was plugged into is fine and is currently working with a different outlet. We tried plugging it into four different outlets in two different designs and got the same result. So test it out before installing it as you might be able to return it if it turns out to be so.
