212 Evolution vs. JJ Cole Polar Bundleme

I am writing the same review for three items: JJ Cole Polar Bundleme, 7 am Enfant Blanket 212 Evolution and 7 am Enfant Blanket 212 Chevron. I've compared many different stroller bags by reading online reviews and narrowed my choices down to these 3. I ordered these 3 items to test and finally settled on the JJ Cole Polar Bundleme. I'm looking for something new to use with a stroller (Uppababy Vista) on long walks when temperatures are in the 20-40 degree Fahrenheit range (New York winters). Conclusion: I chose the JJ Cole Polar Bundleme because it's bigger. The top duvet can also be buttoned halfway or removed entirely for less coverage on warmer days. Size: The Polar Bundleme was wider and longer at its largest size than the 7 o'clock enfant quilts at their largest size. The narrower profile of the 7 o'clock Enfant blankets looked a little cleaner on the stroller, but from a practical standpoint I have a feeling the wider blanket could potentially last longer with a growing baby. The 7am Enfant can be more comfortable for the baby because you can make it very small by removing both bases. Materials: They both felt very comfortable. The 7 o'clock Enfant blankets felt softer and thicker than the Polar Bundleme, but the Polar Bundleme still felt very nice and premium. A NOTICE. I also checked out the Uppababy BabyGanoosh footmuff - the fabric felt very light and flimsy and not as comfortable as the Polar Bundleme or 7am Enfant blankets. I'm sure the Uppababy footmuff is warm, but I just wanted something a little more plush and cozy for my daughter. Also, Uppababy didn't have a hood. Ease of Use: I think it's a bit easier to get baby in and out of the 7 o'clock Enfant blanket because it has a central zip rather than the two side zips of the JJ Cole blankets of the time. But I liked that the top of the JJ Cole duvets can be completely removed when it gets hot, while the 7 o'clock Enfant duvets can only be unzipped and pushed to one side. I also love that JJ Cole's duvet can be split in half - this way you can only cover their legs if they already have a coat over them. For me, these were big pluses, especially since the temperature can vary greatly from day to day in autumn and spring. I liked that the hood of the 7am Enfant Blanket 212 Evolution can be opened and folded to the side. NOTE: YOU CANNOT DO THIS WITH THE 7AM ENFANT BLANKET 212 CHEVRON - they look very similar in the pictures but are not exactly the same. I also liked that the Polar Bundleme's canopy folds down and wraps around the top of the stroller or car seat so it's out of the way (I have to remove the sun visor on my stroller to do this). Baby: The 7 o'clock Enfant comforters were a bit larger and you could tighten the hood opening to keep baby covered a bit more. But I felt the Polar Bundleme was more than enough for our needs. My daughter looked great in them tonight wearing only soccer pajamas (no jersey) and it was 37 degrees outside. The underside of the Polar Bundleme can be a little bothersome for some kids as the extender gets caught at the bottom when the blanket is set to a smaller size. The extension slightly reduces the child's legroom when not in use, but I didn't think it would make much of a difference for my daughter - she still had plenty of room. The 7 o'clock comforters here were a bit better since the expansion is fully unzipped. However, you must then keep an eye out for this random expansion! Stroller Fit: Both fit the Uppababy Vista very well. As I said above, the tighter 7 o'clock enfant duvets looked a little cleaner. However, I liked the straps that attached the Polar Bundleme more. The Polar Bundleme had a strap that went all the way around the back of the stroller to secure the top of the duvet to keep the hood from slipping down. 7 O'Clock Enfant duvets have two loops that go around the stroller's side bars, but on the Uppababy Vista, the material gets in the way, so you can't use those loops. The Polar Bundleme didn't seem to slip as much as the 7 o'clock enfant blankets on the Uppababy Vista. I liked the non-slip backing of the 7 o'clock Enfant duvets. Colors: The pink-purple 212 Chevron was very cute, but the neon pink contrasted with my darker pink stroller. The pink and black stroller was also too much. I liked the matte black Polar Bundleme on my stroller (mine is silver) better than the gloss black 212 Evolution. The 212 Evolution is shown in matte black on the 7am Enfant website, but it's sold out everywhere I looked. I could only find a matte black with a gray hood, which struck me as a bit odd. A NOTICE. I've seen several pictures of the black and pink Chevron 212 online, but haven't been able to find it anywhere to buy. I contacted 7am Enfant and they said this color was never made so it is not available. Price: The Polar Bundleme ($109) is significantly cheaper than the 7 o'clock Enfant blankets ($189).
