Everything worked very well except for one. The closure at the neck is elastic with a sliding stopper. Do not overtighten or the cat will suffocate. After making it as tight as possible, let the cat escape anyway. She can tuck in her paw and then use it to stretch her neck enough (causing the slider to slip and the elastic to stretch) to slip out of her. The use of Velcro or a non-elastic neck fastener greatly improves the situation. However, it worked very well. She could use the tray if she was carrying it and I was able to undo a velcro strap to easily check the wound. I just had to watch her a lot and intervened when I saw her stick her paw out of the hole in her throat. Another nice feature was the extra layer of soft tissue in the abdomen. This prevented her from rubbing the wound area and licking the tissue (she licked the other one I tried which caused the incision to bleed).
