I'll skip part of how good this article is. More than enough reviews testify to that. This device will get the job done, and very well. Just remember these things: 1. This is NOT a hot oven. If your coffee is cold when you use this, it will be warm at best. It just helps keep the drink warm. BIG difference.2. Pay attention to these keys - they are "touch sensitive". So if you're not careful, you can touch them with your fingers and either turn them on or off unintentionally. The first is the bigger problem because there is NO AUTO SHUT OFF. You don't want to leave it unattended and left on.3. No beeps. Despite other reviews, mine doesn't beep when you touch any buttons, so I don't know if that beep was removed in later models. Anyway, I don't have them.4. IF YOU USE CREAM IN THE COFFEE - Definitely with a set of those silly looking but absolutely essential rubber coffee cup lids [they look like umbrellas]. If you don't do this and leave your mug unattended on the heater, the cream will curdle and the coffee and mug will spoil instantly. These lids retain moisture and also help keep the coffee warm. You'll get drips of condensation every time you remove them, but that's a small price to pay. I find it best to use the highest setting when the cup is full and then lower it as the drink is consumed. Otherwise a pleasantly warm cup of coffee will instantly turn into a boiling hot cup.
