Excellent craftsmanship. I was very impressed with this compass and its high quality finish. It has a comfortable weight and is made of a thick material that feels premium. The compass itself works well. As a gift, this is a very impressive item. The quote was very well received by the recipient and will make a great gift for years to come. However, I wasn't a big fan of the leather case and chose not to give it as a gift when I gave the compass away. The bag itself is nice leather but I don't like the brand name embossed on the leather as I think it ruins the cleanliness and high quality of the whole package. Highly recommended!
