I used these brackets to reinforce a plastic bumper reinforcement that was repaired with glue. These are great staples - not too thick but strong enough to hold the pieces together in case the glue doesn't work. I didn't use the screws that come with the kit; Instead, I used aluminum rivets to hold the strut in place.
