IF YOU VALUE YOUR PRIVACY, PLEASE NOTE

We really need this as we don't have network coverage and rely on the network for other important things than entertainment. I had to wait two days, hey, the delivery is still fast, but the package came with photos of the outside, which would increase the risk of theft. When I open it, I see that the installation requires a smartphone. it stinks because i have too much space on my smartphone. but to install the application you must agree to their privacy policy, data collection and product…

TP-Link Deco M5 is the best MESH NETWORK I have ever tried.

I have also tried Asus, Orbi, Google and Eero. I was never completely satisfied until I installed the four node TP-Link M5 Mesh! Wow what a difference. My house isn't huge, it's 1.5 stories with dormer windows, built in the 40's with slatted frame + plaster walls and flagstone exterior walls. Getting a signal through floors and a few walls has always been a problem. The Wi-Fi signal output to the front yard (Wi-Fi security cameras and doorbell) or backyard for entertainment or garage to watch…

Mesh Router Deco M5 Unboxing

Overall I am very happy with the system. It comes in decent packaging but a beautiful product. The setup wasn't too difficult, if you have the general knowledge it's easy. I had a problem detecting one of my devices. I contacted tech support and they were a joke. In the end I figured out the problem myself. The tech support phone is my only negative experience with these devices. They cover my whole house and maybe three doors down from me and still get a strong signal. The built-in security…

Update after TP-Link has updated the firmware. Very happy now!

My original rating is below but I was pleasantly shocked when one day I opened the application and there was an option to toggle bars on or switch off, as well as other useful additions. The technician on the phone initially said it was impossible, but apparently they found a way and listened to their customers. Because of this and because they are impeccable in their work I'm moving from 1 star to 5. I just can't say enough good things about them. I've had them for a few months now and have…

No more missing signals!

Oh my god I'm so glad I clicked on these! We just moved and had to switch providers. We pay for 100MB but constantly test at 25. The bigger problem was the constant loss of signal. I bought this mesh system without knowing my results and I'm just really happy with it. For my 2 storey house with an area of 1920 sq.m. I only needed 2 units: one in the basement, the other in the living room on the opposite side on the first floor. Now I'm constantly testing between 90-105Mbps with no loss or loss…

Stay away if you have more than a few units

TL;DR. This system regularly crashes when you have too many devices connected to it. This system cannot handle its DHCP. Generally, you think that a high-end, expensive router has enough advanced features and high-quality software, but you are wrong with Deco. We have a number of IoT devices that regularly encounter IP address conflicts, resulting in the entire network being disconnected from any network connection for 5-15 minutes. The only solution I found was to assign static addresses using

Very disappointing performance and misleading lighting.

This wifi hotspot is misleading. .At first glance, the coverage was much better. In reality, however, this is not the case. This Wi-Fi system establishes 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi with the same SSID and allows the client to switch to the strongest signal. This is where the illusion of stronger and better coverage comes into play. In fact, my phone mostly ran on 2.4 GHz. 5GHz only connected when I was a few steps away from the access point. A speed test in my backyard (about 30 feet from the access…

Mesh networks at an affordable price!

It's been a month now and we are very happy with this router. We've seen performance that's as advertised in the specs. We bought 3 packs which was more than we needed for our 2 story townhouse but the selling price was cheaper than buying 2 packs. We currently only use two which gives our house full high speed coverage. Streaming video to multiple locations at the same time proved to be no problem. There are a few corners in a few rooms where buffering happened with our old router, which is no
