So simple, but so effective!

So simple and yet so effective. This alarm clock is powered by a single 9V battery and is a 'switch' only as removing the pin makes noise. And it's very loud. Not like a police car at all, they are designed for use at very long ranges. And maybe a little quieter than a car alarm, but the noise is relative to what is needed to protect the bike and certainly very loud for its size and amazing. Much more than enough! Because it's so simple, it has no time settings, no remote control, and nothing but a pull pin and test switch on the side to momentarily "check" if the battery is good. It just acts as if the pin is removed when the switch is in the "on" position. And in the off position, the alarm is "on" and ready to go off when the pin is removed. Once the alarm has gone off, the only way to disable it is to reinsert the stylus, remove the battery, or destroy it. Remove starch so you can hang the box on a string and it just won't fall off. The resistance is ideal. The nylon cord feels durable and hardly frays, and the box has a belt clip that makes it easy to temporarily attach it to anything. In my case, the box is sandwiched between the bike's side stand and the bottom of the frame. , because I usually park it with the main stand. Then, after putting the case on, I attach the clip to the edge of the case. A couple of times I removed the cover, thinking of releasing the alarm, and accidentally activated it. This shows that the alarm will work despite my slightly simplified method.
