Review on Wireless Earbuds for TV - Avantree HT380 by Steve Arnold

I bought this device to replace an old Sennheiser model that is no longer available. I was hesitant at first because I read some reviews, but after tweaking and testing it works great! This was bought for my father in law who has hearing problems and his old Sennheiser only worked in one ear and had recently passed out. The great thing about the Avantree model is its adaptability. The main unit is connected/charged to the TV in different ways (e.g. optical cable, composite cable, etc.). The headset has a neck strap that can be worn as a pendant around the neck, is lightweight and can be used with any headset with a 3.5 jack plug. Significantly better than the older model where the lower part of the headset was heavier and could fall out while watching. The great thing about the headset is that it has a button so when we talk to my father-in-law, he can hear us through the built-in microphone without having to take out the headphones or put on the hearing aids. Big! The device also comes with a spare battery that keeps it charged while in the base. Definitely happy with this purchase, as was my father-in-law. His quote is "Thank you! Now I can enjoy my TV programs again!”
