Easy Installation, Plug and Play Because when you pull out the bluetooth motherboard wiring harness, remove most of the wires and gold connectors with a magnifying glass, knife, bright light, and solder 4 very small wires together to create a new special connector to "just plug and play" the bluetooth data cable to the motherboard? Are electrical engineers a target market? I had to do a lot of research and do some cumbersome hacks to get my machine working again. In hindsight, I probably would have spent the money to buy an expensive kit that included the bluetooth cable needed to connect the new card to the BT dock on a Mac Pro 5.1 motherboard. You will also need a Bluetooth antenna extension, which is not included. So if you have a Mac Pro, the card adapter is priced right, and it comes with a cable that you can solder to your MacGyver's custom BT data harness. But do a lot of homework on how to do it and buy the bluetooth antenna extender you need in advance. Mine isn't due for a few weeks, so I'll have to take it apart again.
