Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Wireless AC 1200Mbps PCIE Wi-Fi Bluetooth Adapter - 2.4GHz 300Mbps or 5GHz 867Mbps - Windows Server, 7/8/8.1/10 (32/64bit) PCs - PCIE WiFi Bluetooth Card (FS-AC85BT) by Jake Solorzano

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fast speed of 867MHz. I am upgrading my gaming PC to AC for the first time.

So I installed this card and it started and automatically connected to my 2.4Ghz WiFi. After a few minutes it automatically installed the driver and switched to my 5GHz mode automatically. I'm taking on some P2P, gaming and streaming and will report any stability issues. I like that the Hit has a heatsink. I installed it across from my GTX 1600 graphics card and the fans from it create airflow for my wifi card. The antennas make a well-made impression and can be easily positioned. I'm about 20 feet from my router in sight. Status increased and I'm connected at maximum speed. Cons: I think I paid about $5 more than I should have for the universal card. . However, the chip is all that matters and the added cost of the heatsink gives me peace of mind. Until the next iteration of WiFi comes out or I get fed up with these speeds, I'll be happy with it. Here's an anecdote: I installed the card along with other hardware. I had an error and the system would not start. I had to go back and disable one component at a time. I pulled out all the cards and saw that one of my memory modules was not fully installed. Pulled out and reinstalled and the system worked. Even the CMOS battery was dead. The last two items were the PCIE SSD and the CPU. I'm glad I didn't have to reseat the processor chip.
