One worked great another melted

I used two of these on a turkey, one on the thigh and one on the breast. The one in the thigh popped out perfectly, but since the breast hadn't come out yet, I left it in the oven and watched it closely. He didn't pop out, he melted. I took the turkey based on the thigh. Turkey was perfect. I have different views on this subject based on the above, but I will have a different opinion next year.
