This defiantly does not hold the weight it Claims. Can’t even hold 2 12” pieces of 3/16” angle iron together. Other than that does what it’s supposed to, just wish the 25lb holding force was accurate

I can't be certain but the largest size certainly doesn't seem like it holds it's rating. I'm not sure how this unit is measured but I'd say its much weaker than advertised. It's useful.kind of. Don't drop them; they will break and the rivets with get pushed around.

Great little tool. I bought it specifically to hold pipe for welding, but I’m building a powder coat oven and it’s been wonderful for holding things together. Even for thin gauge metal, I can move it accurately into position and it holds the part there for drilling or welding. I’m using the 75lb version, and buying another.

Tried to use 2 of these to hold a 5lb piece of square 1/8" 1"x2" steel tubing in place. These could barely hold their own weight without sliding.

Item was received as advertised, does a good job holding together various pieces I was welding together. I think the 50lb. rating might be a bit of an exaggeration as far as the practical use of the magnet goes, but it is definitely strong and effective for holding sheet metal or thin plate together.

Exactly what I was looking for and at a price I could afford. Building a small blacksmithing shop here in eastern Kentucky.

Looks like there are 4 but only comes with one. Description talks about holders so when only one arrived I felt rather cheated. But the details lists it as only one so I guess its my fault. I'd advise the seller to get a more accurate picture

Exactly as described, and strong enough to position and hold small to medium pieces. Good tool for the price. That's my feedback.

Used to hold sheet metal in place while tacking together. Worked great! Sometimes two hands just are not enough and this made the job much easier. Only thing I would do differently is I should have bought two or three. Shipped fast and product was as shown.

I have used them several times to hold pieces in place. The multiple angles really helps secure your pieces so you can use both hands and get a good weld. I'm by no means a professional welder and these have helped me a great deal.

I made this purchase thinking it was 4 magnets like shown in the main picture. I was disappointed when only 1 showed up. I think the listing should be updated. Other than that great product.

I got the 75lb magnet and it is very strong and perfect for what I needed. The company sent me an email to see if the package arrived alright because they said they where having problems with products being damaged. They also gave me the a free coupon for buying the magnet from them.

These magnets are strong, almost too strong for working with smaller, lighter pieces of metal. But I knew they were rated for 75 lbs. I just didn't realize how strong a 75 lb rated magnet was. Excellent magnet!

Wobble on flat surfaces when set up on any angle,the plates on either side of magnet are riveted together and seem to be tightly riveted . Will compare and determine on other flat surfaces if this is still a product assembly issue meaning not set up in jig right or quality control issue on the run .
