At first glance, the Unique Baby Boys "That's How I Ride" School Bus Back to School Costume is undeniably adorable. A bright yellow bus graphic on the shirt is paired with striped trousers for a fun and playful ensemble. As a gift for my 7 year old nephew who is in second grade I was thrilled to see his reaction. However, after trying the outfit on him, I noticed that the material of the shirt and pants seemed flimsy and cheap. I can't say for sure how well it will hold up after washing or a few wears, but I wasn't impressed with the quality right out of the box. Even though the pattern on the shirt is cute and fancy, I'm not sure how it fits into a school uniform. For some, having a giant car on a child's t-shirt can be distracting or even disrespectful, especially when school safety is a top priority. Overall I have mixed feelings about this school costume. The design is undeniably cute, but the quality of the material and suitability for school wear make me hesitant to recommend it.
