I took this to keep an extra house key in case I locked. I realized that leaving the windows unlocked to get in after my house was broken into wasn't the wisest idea. The magnet on this case is good, strong so I'm happy with that, but it's hard to open. and then I couldn't close it properly. I dropped it twice and the key flew out. I've now wrapped the elastic around the opening end (the magnet is sticking out so the elastic doesn't get in the way). I also put it in a ziplock bag and then wrapped more rubber bands around each end. The magnet is strong enough to work with a plastic bag, but that's not the best solution. If you can get it for pennies (shipping included) and don't mind keeping it closed, it's worth it. Otherwise I would look for something that stays closed.
