I've owned an old pair of Definitive DB-7s for quite some time. When the midrange needed a boost I decided to upgrade. I went back and forth over the model and finally settled on the 9060s because they allow you to add top surround speakers and 12 inch woofers would probably annoy my neighbors. I use them with a subwoofer, a center speaker and two studio monitors across the room for surround sound. These 1060s are crisp and clear. I was really shocked. They are narrower than the DB-7 but sound better. And I didn't think I'd like the aluminum base, but it looks nice and adds extra stability. Overall it's pricey, but if you really love your music and want to hear more depth and clarity than the wireless options everyone's talking about, this is a good "old school" investment that should provide hours of music enjoyment.
