Review on Nori Paste 10-Ounce: Enhanced Yasutomo πŸ”¨ NP56J Nori Paste for Ultimate Crafting Precision by Amber Perez

Just the right amount of tacky spreadable glue and setting time

I literally have about 6 different types of glue in my workshop so I was hesitant to buy another one OTHER than I did decided to try bookbinding, and starch paste was used in several lessons. I'm glad I did. This is a unique roller in my pantheon of adhesives: lightweight and easy to apply in a thin layer. Set-up times are slow enough that you can cover a decent area if you need to 'stick' it and/or have time to reposition things if necessary. Dries to a strong bond but remains somewhat flexible. It takes a little longer than ideal to dry, and it contains a lot of moisture so you have to be careful not to over-dampen the paper, but everything has a trade-off. Besides, you like the jar it's in. Always think that it is a good thing for a company to take the time to pack their product really carefully. Something that shows that they know how to deal with this material or stumbling blocks and have taken it into account. The jar has an extra lid that "burps" like Tupperware and provides a good seal to keep it from drying out. . After living it for so long, getting over it quickly and not wanting to spend that much on it again, I tried a homemade cornstarch paste and it's almost identical. Follow the basic instructions in DAS Bookbinding's Starch Paste YouTube video - I've added a comment there with my notes on cornstarch. A little cumbersome but it was very easy, took little time and cost a penny.
