The light bulb is generally easy to use. Install a light bulb and if you want to use LED light, just turn on the light as usual. If you need a zapper, first turn on the light, turn it off, then turn it back on. Off > On (Light) > Off > On (Zapper) > Off > On (Light) I give it 3 stars because yes it works, it kills SMALL mosquitoes and bugs. BUT the zapper didn't even last a year. I turned it on maybe 2-3 times a week for a few months before it died on me.
