I bought this as a birthday present for my son who falls right in the middle of the recommended weight range for this pogo stick. The first day my son used it a few times for about 15 minutes per session. The rubber around the base of this stick dissolved instantly - in less than an hour of use the base was completely destroyed. Surprisingly poor/cheap construction and what a disappointment for a birthday present. The spring also started to break, but by that point we had already given up on this thing.
