Review on 💧 iSpring US31 Tankless Filtration System with Enhanced Capacity by Zach Peterson

Update 23 6 - Replacement fitting was shipped and installed in minutes. There are no leaks yet. We bought it primarily to filter out the occasional buildup in our water that we use with a zero filter water jug but tire of refilling. Tap water in New York City is generally great, so we didn't want to change the taste. As a side note, we replaced the third stage with a 1 micron filter to keep cables out, just in case. It seems to work. The water flow is very good (it splashes because of the filter) and the taste is always a little different. Due to the new replaceable filter, the TDS is higher than zero water, but we've read that the lead removal process replaces it with other TDS-raising minerals. I look forward to the 1st stage filter getting dirty through the clear plastic housing to remind us why we went this route. Disappointed we had to wait a week to use it but glad the seller was quick to respond. Things happen, so we're going to attribute it to that. Happy with purchase and product. As an aside, the installation was done in a 24-inch Ikea sink with a pull-out drawer front. It was tight but fits without getting in the way of the drawer. Update 6/18 – Nick from iSpring contacted me first thing this morning to let us know that the replacement fitting is being shipped. We are very excited and eager to get rid of our water filter jug and have high hopes that it is just a speed bump. We bought an ice maker kit and installed it while we wait. I just hate that it arrived with a broken faucet elbow/fitting which basically makes the system paperweight until I get a replacement. I have contacted the seller to request a replacement and will update once they respond. On the other hand, the system was installed in less than 30 minutes, with the biggest effort being getting under the counter to attach the faucet underneath. The instructions are short and not very clear, but all the components are laid out fairly neatly, allowing you to manage the installation. The guide could be a bit more organized and broken down, but installation is logical if you have minimal experience. The connections appear to be secure, but I won't be able to test for leaks until I have this spare. So close but so far! One of the main reasons we chose iSpring is the transparent body which doesn't disappoint visually. We have a lot of rust and sediment, so we are concerned about replacing the sediment filter in time so as not to affect levels 2 and 3.
