Review on 💅 AIMEILI Natural Nail and Cuticle Oil, Moisturizing Nail Care Formula 15ml by Epitome Ballard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

There are definitely better cuticle oils

First off, it's made in China. As for the ingredients, isopropyl palmitate (the main ingredient) is made from palm oil, it can clog pores and aggravate dry skin. It's just a cheap way to make a product feel good and last longer. On the packaging, above the list of ingredients, it is mentioned that it can cause allergic reactions. Olive oil is good for your skin, but the particles are too big to be absorbed quickly, so they just sit there and make you look oily. Castor oil is good for nails and skin, but only when it's cold-pressed. Other extraction processes use chemicals that can degrade quality, reduce potency, and introduce impurities. Finally tocopherol. Yes, technically it's vitamin E BUT there are 8 different forms of tocopherol. Some are synthetic, some are natural and some are blended. Synthetic is half as strong as natural. So what form of tocopherol is in it? There are so many better products out there. You can even make your own with jojoba, almonds, avocado and natural vit. E, it will save you money in the long run. If you don't want to use MYO, there are amazing cuticle oils made by independent nail polish manufacturers with quality ingredients right here in the States.
