With rare exceptions, I'm very bad at returning things I have to return. Due to difficult circumstances last year (family crisis) we did not put up our 7ft Christmas tree. In fact, we didn't add any decorations. So, as Christmas Eve approached, I felt terrible that we had intentionally neglected the decorations. At that time I declared that we would never neglect Christmas again and would at least put up a Christmas tree. We are older, we don't have any kids around the house but we have a 100lb German Shepherd puppy who is a whirlwind of energy and challenges but we love him! So we decided to use a small table tree, hoping it would survive the pup's antics in the nursery. This tree seemed very beautiful to us and we thought it would serve our purpose well. When it arrived early I took it as a good sign. As I opened and pulled out the tightly taped box, I began to wonder if the correct tree had been sent to me. The tree in the picture looked so full, but this tree will never be the same as in the picture - no matter how long we "fluff" (stretching crooked and twisted clumps of branches). The lower section has articulated main arms while the upper section is not articulated and the main arms must be bent down. Also, I'm wondering if this tree wasn't squashed back into the crate and returned by another disgruntled customer. Buying from pictures has always been a gamble. I hope my warning to you points you in a different direction. I learned my lesson about buying trees from a picture. Merry Christmas. try HomeDepot.
