First off, this is a good camera for the price. without doubt. I've even used it during the day and it shows a good color image. at night, b/w photo. At first I thought there was something wrong because the eyepiece is just a tiny hole! no lens. the? But it works. You just have to look straight into the small hole. The picture is. When focusing, the hand blocks the IR light. which is strange for the design. disables the camera completely. It takes a while, then it adjusts again and you can see the picture. Night vision is VERY good. At night the buttons are useless. You'll need a flashlight to illuminate them to see what's coming next. You know. useless when you need to shine a flashlight on a night vision camera and go unnoticed lol. Why is there no key lighting? how much can it cost? 30 cents? Button UI is terrible. Also, if you press the left and right buttons to zoom in, for example, you have to press and release them. does not work if the button is held down. The magnification does not appear to be optical. it is digital. So at 5x you only get 20% of the resolution you get at 1x. hmph runs on one AA 3.7V battery. RAM is preinstalled. You need to READ the manual and work with google translated to english to understand what they will say. but it's better than nothing.
