Heats at maximum temperature when agitator is on.
My device does not move without heating. The heating light was off, but the plate was heated to the maximum temperature each time stirring was turned on. Tests with a multimeter showed that every time the agitator is switched on, full voltage is supplied from the circuit board to the heating element. I had to hook up an emergency switch to manually shut off power from the heating element when I didn't want to. Oddly, the heat control still worked with the heat button unless you turned it off completely, which would cause it to turn on at max temperature.
