Review on Hale Pet Doors Wall Model, Double Flap: Ultimate Convenience for Your Furry Friend by Lisa Charlton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have owned Hale Small Door for over 10 years.

I have owned a small Hale door for at least 10 years. A contractor installed it in my Florida apartment building. The house had been rented for a while when I moved in and my renter had and used Chihuahuas (eventually had 4). There are 2 large, thick, transparent rubber magnets. Flaps that protect against insects and hot and cold air. I removed the outer flap the longest to help the cats use the door as they did. I lost this flap and had to replace it with my nose. Rather than removing the outside door I would like to stick a broomstick in both doors and leave it there for a few weeks to teach the cats to use it as some have suggested. Double thicker rubber doors. Raising raccoons, possums and other wildlife. which I had to go to the Hale pet door because the cheaper single rigid plastic pet door I had before let wild animals in. They don't enter through the Hale double reed or even the single reed when I removed the 2nd valve. If wild animals enter, use double valves.
